 The
Crab Pattern
The Crab
is a Harmonic pattern discovered by Scott
Carney in 2001. The critical aspect of this pattern
is the tight Potential Reversal Zone created by the
1.618 of the XA leg and an extreme (2.24, 2.618, 3.14,
3.618) projection of the BC leg but employs an 0.886
retracement at the B point unlike the regular version
that utilizes a 0.382-0.618 at the mid-point. The
pattern requires a very small stop loss and usually
volatile price action in the Potential Reversal Zone.
